System Ninja now requires .NET Framework 4.0

Windows 10 is shipped with .NET Framework 4.6, which should run a 4.0 app fine.

The portable edition will also not open on my development machine, which has 4.5.2 installed. Seems to me that the portable build is broken 🙂

    1. Run as Administrator
    or
    2. Right-click on archive with the program. Unblock, Unzip, enjoy.

Actually, I’m able to reproduce this error.

A freshly downloaded copy of system-ninja-portable-3.1.zip will sometimes throw a .NET error, while the exact same file (confirmed by matching MD5 checksums) that has never been uploaded to the internet will run completely fine.

    Temporary workaround:

Download the installer version, install; go to “C:\Program Files (x86)\System Ninja” and copy everything except for the uninstaller files to a new location. Uninstall System Ninja, continue using the files as a portable program.

I currently suspect this is a Windows 10 bug.

    The same situation.
I hope there will be fix for Win 10.

    I have also a question.
Is there a difference between System Ninja & Enhanced CCleaner?

Is there a difference between System Ninja & Enhanced CCleaner?

Yes. CCleaner can only ever look in pre-determined locations. CCEnhancer increases the number of locations.

System Ninja, on the other hand, looks everywhere for junk.
