CCEnhancer downloads winapp2.ini with a different content and size.

Just now checked, the file is downloaded correctly. Use alternative download URL.

I tried the original and alternative download
The downloaded file is 49KB in size with the following content:
    https://drop.me/B4Z5La
The size of the correct Winapp2_v170713 file is 850KB

I tested on a virtual machine with clean Windows 7 and 10 x64 – on these systems, too, an error
Probably, the problem is in my ISP.
    Are there any solutions?

    Hello,

This is happening because your computer isn’t allowing CCEnhancer to connect to http://content.thewebatom.net. This could be because of a restriction imposed by your anti-virus or firewall software.

As for why you’re receiving a broken file when the connection fails (it should switch to a fallback server), I’ve investigated and found there’s a network issue sending you to the wrong address for the file. I’m going to try to fix it from this end, but there’s a 50/50 chance I’ll need to drop a new version of CCEnhancer with updated internal URLs.

    Regards,

    Shane

    This should be fixed now.

Hello Shane Gowland! This problem appears even on the newly installed operating system (without antivirus and firewalls). I live in Russia and our ISPs block prohibited websites .. Sometimes they block normal sites, this is common practice for them.

You can upload a new (test) version of CCEnhancer here:
    https://drop.me/
    http://www.zippyshare.com/
And publish a link here (in this thread)
I will test and let you know the result.
    Thank you.

This has been fixed at the network level, you don’t need to download a new CCEnhancer.

    Already better but 🙁
A new problem! The winapp2.ini file is now downloaded but not until the end! And winapp2.ini has a strange version.
