Getting CCEnhancer to work

    I am using CCleaner Portable 3.18.1707 and CCEnhancer 3.3.
    When I run CCEnhancer, I get the message: “Unable to find a version of the runtime….”
    This did not happen with earlier versions of CCEnhancer.
    Please tell me, is there a fix for this?

    That usually happens when .NET is either missing or corrupt. Try common .NET troubleshooting steps, or just go back to a previous version that worked for you.

    I have re-installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0_Full, but CCEnhancer won’t run.
    Do I need to install an earlier version of Microsoft .NET Framework?

    CCEnhancer is written to target .NET 3.5; howevee it should still run under 4.0 without any issue.

    I have installed .NET Framework version 2.0, and CCEnhancer ran (but did not add to the list of apps as it used to).
    Thanks for your help.
