    I had a big problem installing JRE after uninstalling JRE 1.6.0_20.

    I tried JavaRa and it removed about 45 remaining registry keys, but installation of a new JRE still didn’t work. It always ended with  “error 2753 regutils.dll”.

    The reason was that JavaRa did not remove the key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\4EA42A62D9304AC4784BF238120632FF as described here: http://www.snakelegs.org/2012/05/07/java-2753-regutils-dll-error/

    After manually deleting this one key, the installation went through!

    I checked both JavaRa 1.16 and 2.6 definition files and this key is not in there. 🙁
