Ninja is communicating with the Internet every minute.

We use a technology called CleanSync to automatically download the latest cleaning routines. This can be disabled via the settings menu.

System Ninja periodically checks for program updates and updates to plugins. This can also be disabled on the settings page.

If you have a look in a network monitoring tool, you will see that these are all GET requests. We don’t upload any data to our servers whatsoever while System Ninja is running.

Thank you for your response. I’ve just noticed those “get” requests and decided to ask about it.

P.S. What is the need for SingularLabs that created CCEnhancer for CCleaner, make a separate cleaner, Ninja?

CCleaner checks predefined locations for junk files, so many are missed. System Ninja scans the entire hard drive and uses a heuristic algorithm to determine if the file is junk. The quantity of junk found differs, as System Ninja prefers to target the more “difficult to find” files.
