KeymasterThank you. 🙂

KeymasterJust to provide a quick update: We are no longer bundling 3rd-party software with System Ninja. You should no longer receive any warnings from your security product.

KeymasterIf you’re able to add an exclusion to Norton, you should be able to run System Ninja 3.1 through the installer. We’re currently having some trouble with our advertising parter that is causing false-positive detections in a number of anti-virus products.
The portable issue is still under investigation. The binary files in the installer and the portable version are identical, so it’s not immediately obvious what’s causing this issue. Especially since it’s only affecting a small number of users.

KeymasterThe advertising module included in the installer is being flagged by at least 14 security vendors. It’s not immediately obvious what has caused this spike in detections, however we’re working with the provider (and their competitors) to get this resolved.
Rest assured there is nothing harmful in System Ninja, though it might be wise to avoid accepting the installer offer until we can get more details.

KeymasterHi Jadran, please create a new topic in the translations forum with your .locale file uploaded as an attachment.

KeymasterIs there a difference between System Ninja & Enhanced CCleaner?
Yes. CCleaner can only ever look in pre-determined locations. CCEnhancer increases the number of locations.
System Ninja, on the other hand, looks everywhere for junk.

KeymasterCCEnhancer is working fine on my Win10 test machine and dev machine. You may have a broken .NET framework install.

KeymasterTemporary workaround:
Download the installer version, install; go to “C:\Program Files (x86)\System Ninja” and copy everything except for the uninstaller files to a new location. Uninstall System Ninja, continue using the files as a portable program.
I currently suspect this is a Windows 10 bug.

KeymasterActually, I’m able to reproduce this error.
A freshly downloaded copy of system-ninja-portable-3.1.zip will sometimes throw a .NET error, while the exact same file (confirmed by matching MD5 checksums) that has never been uploaded to the internet will run completely fine.
