KeymasterShaun; there isn’t currently a delay option. It wouldn’t be overly difficult to add though. If I’m not too tired later, I’ll see if I can whip something up.

KeymasterIf you’re using the Task Scheduler, make sure you add the “/AUTO” commandline switch which tells ProcessAlive to start monitoring.

KeymasterIt seems Microsoft have removed support for creating startup entries (via the registry) in Windows 8. You might need to use the Windows Task Scheduler to handle this functionality.
The ‘save list to a file’ option usually starts working when the app has administrator rights. For some bizarre reason, Windows considers writing a text file to be dangerous behaviour.
Once I get a Windows 8 test machine set up; I’ll look at resolving these issues. It will be at least a couple of months though.

KeymasterThe winapp2.ini entries are slowly being improved and updated for Windows 8. The majority of detect issues are actually caused by CCleaner’s lack of support for Windows 8’s new registry reparse points.
Over time winapp2.ini/CCleaner updates will get everything back to normal.

KeymasterThere are no plans to port MetroTextual to WinRT at this time.

KeymasterLooking to add this in the next version.

KeymasterSo you want to run the uninstaller for each JRE instance installed on the machine; from the commandline? If so; that can be implemented quite easily.

KeymasterJust uploaded 0.6 which adds basic support for commandline arguments. You can currently only specify one per process.
I’ve also fixed a bug causing Windows to bluescreen when ProcessAlive attempts to open a 32bit Piriform product on x64 Windows. Apparently Piriform doesn’t limit the number of child processes their products are allowed to create; which leads to a Fork-bomb-like DDOS.

Keymasterwinapp2.ini contains more entries than CCleaner itself does; which means there is going to be a performance hit of >100% when first loading CCleaner.
One possible solution is to use alan_b’s Trim.bat file to remove unneeded entries from winapp2.ini.
We’re working on adding a custom winapp2.ini trimming function into CCEnhancer; but it’s proving to be a very challenging and time consuming task. No current ETA.

KeymasterDo you have another security product running on your PC? Make sure it’s properly removed using the appropriate uninstall tool from our list of uninstallers.
If we’re going to help any further; you’re going to need to provide more info. Namely; operating system version and type and the version of Trend you wish to install.
