GuestOn my older Win 7 PC CCEnhancer asks when download completed if I want to launch CCleaner but it doesn’t do the same on my newer PC. How do I turn this feature on? Thanks.

GuestThanks for your reply Phobos. I’ve already tried that:
1. On the PC where it “works” that option is NOT checked
2. On the PC where it does not work it doesn’t matter if that option is checked or not.
Is CCEnhancer expecting to find CCleaner is a particular folder? I looked in INI file and also Registry and no clues.

ModeratorSearches in two folders:
$:\Program Files (x86)
$:\Program Files
Also you can manually specify the path. Settings — Portable locations.
Try to run as administrator or disable UAC.

GuestNone of those things made a difference but what solved it was moving the CCEnhancer EXE out of the same folder as CCleaner and into its own folder in Program Files. Thanks for your help.

ModeratorI have reproduced this bug. Yep, CCEnhancer can’t run CCleaner if it is in the same folder. I think Shane easily fix it.
