    When using the automatic function of the tool, it downloads and installs v7b7 on a Windows 7 machine. If downloading via the manual process, v7b9 is the version online to download.
    Why is there a discrepancy in the versions?

    It’s an issue on Oracle’s end. We simply send a request for /latestversion/ which isn’t updated as frequently as JRE itself.

    The upcoming 2.1 will address this issue.
