Thanks. I have deleted the two in the meantime, I am not familiar with the NET Framework settings so I better leave them alone unless you are prepared to guide me
The app appears to work fine again the only exception being that now system tools produce all of the items in the system whereas I was used to seeing only those that were superfluous and could thus be deleted. But I am happy with this and thank you for your support
