What version CCleaner? Take a screenshot checkboxes.I didn’t have this problem either on previous Windows 8-installations, but this time I do, while nothing is different compared to previous installations…

This didn’t solve it. Still all my tiles and apps were gone from the screen after restarting my system. Restarting it after the restart brought everything back again though. Any other suggestions thus?
There are two ways to clear the icons in the Metro interface. CCleaner does not use any of these methods. I think the problem in something else.
That’s strange, because it only happens when I use CCleaner with CCEnhancer. Is there nothing else I can look? Would the “Refresh your PC” within the Windows 8 menu fix anything?
