After using CCleaner with CCEnhancer, all my Windows 8 Metro-tiles are gone except for the CCleaner one, and also I can’t access my apps anymore.
While, without using CCEnhancer with CCleaner, it looks, and should look, like this.
How to fix this? What option within CCleaner’s CCEnhancer checkboxes should I uncheck to fix this?August 29, 2013 at 11:01 pm #9057
I tried to repeat, but I did not turn out as you have.
What version CCleaner? Take a screenshot checkboxes.

I didn’t have this problem either on previous Windows 8-installations, but this time I do, while nothing is different compared to previous installations…

Uncheck all checkboxes in the category of Windows Store. Uncheck “Windows 8 Start Menu Cache” in the category of Windows.

This didn’t solve it. Still all my tiles and apps were gone from the screen after restarting my system. Restarting it after the restart brought everything back again though. Any other suggestions thus?August 30, 2013 at 4:45 pm #9061
There are two ways to clear the icons in the Metro interface. CCleaner does not use any of these methods. I think the problem in something else.

That’s strange, because it only happens when I use CCleaner with CCEnhancer. Is there nothing else I can look? Would the “Refresh your PC” within the Windows 8 menu fix anything?
