KeymasterYou can re-install Windows Defender separately to Windows Vista. The installer is available from Microsoft’s website.
You should also try running the System File Checking tool (sfc.exe). Directions for doing this can be found in this support article.

KeymasterIt seems unlikely that removing the definitions would break the entire program. I think this is probably more related to yesterday’s Windows updates that included some improvements to Windows Defender.
The best option would be to run the installer over the top. It should allow you to access a repair option.

KeymasterTry booting into safe mode and run JavaRa 1.16. Then in normal Windows mode use Revo to remove it.
Hopefully that should get it unstuck.

KeymasterCan’t reproduce. Try the old version 0.6 (which I know works fine) and see if that resolves the issue. If it does, please reply back so I can identify the bug in the latest version.

Keymasterwhy not integrate winapp.ini also to system ninja?
Because winapp.ini is the intellectual property of Piriform Ltd.
can System Ninja use DetectOS?
Yes.

KeymasterI’ll look into the browser detection and close button issues for you. Not quite sure why either isn’t working at this point.
Are they still present in v1.2?

KeymasterI’ve sent an email to PC Decrapifier to see if they can get the issue with their site resolved. In the meantime; the ‘List’ link has been marked as non-functional.

KeymasterHi! Thank you for your feedback. I’m going to do my best to answer all of your queries:
1: This is the eventual plan; but it’s still quite a long way off.
2: I’ve confirmed this bug and have created a ticket. It should be fixed in the next update.
3: That’s a limitation of Scintilla. It doesn’t allow the native dialogs to be styled. We may add an option to use the MetroTextual dialog instead, but it’s not planned for the next release.
4: Word Wrap currently only works in plain text mode. Looking at getting it fixed shortly.
5: If you copy/paste the MetroTextual installation directory elsewhere (and delete the unins000.dat;.exe files), it will actually work in “portable mode.” It will no longer use LocalAppData or write anything to the registry.
6: I can’t reproduce that one. Have you made any adjustments to your Windows display settings? It’s possible to reduce the margin widths of Windows, which will cause this to happen.
7: Already done. Just waiting to be released.
