I have downloaded & extracted the portable version.
I double click on it…hourglass for about a second & then nothing.
Do I have to do anything special to get it to run?

KeymasterHi Richard.
On newer versions of Windows, you will need to “unblock” the zip file prior to extraction, or else Windows will not allow the executable files contained within to run.

Participantjust tried that…unblocked. Opened with Explorer…copied & pasted to a folder. Run the exe…same think…get the uac prompt…say yes…then nothing

KeymasterIs this Windows 10? Also, What level is your UAC set to?
As an alternative, you can install System Ninja and then take all the files from ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\System Ninja’ (except the uninstaller) and move them to another folder. This will then become a DIY System Ninja Portable.

We’ve just published a new build of System Ninja 3.2.6 Portable (3.2.6.2).
Does this version run on your computer? (don’t forget to unblock prior to extracting)
