Kahil: Chrome will (sometimes) still store previous versions; even if you install to %ProgramFiles%. For what it’s worth; OldChromeRemover will also work in those situations.
Thanks! A portable version will be made available eventually. In the mean time; if you just copied the contents of C:\Program Files\Metrotextual to a folder on a USB disk, it will work semi-portable (settings will be stored in \AppData\)
As for Chrome; that’s normal, expected behaviour. It creates a new process for every tab you have open, plus every extension, app, theme or flash container. As I type I have about 15 chrome.exe processes running with only four tabs open.
