KeymasterThis tutorial was written back in the Windows XP era, but the instructions are still applicable. http://www.duckware.com/pmvr/howtoincreaseappletmemory.html
Make sure you modify the “Java Application Runtime Settings,” not the Applet settings shown in the picture.
Add ‘-Xmx300m’ to the “Runtime Parameters” box. Replace 300 with whatever amount of RAM you wish to allocate; but make sure you don’t go overboard (eg >1024) or else your performance will seriously suffer.

KeymasterThank you.

KeymasterHi,
Firstly; just so you know; we didn’t create these tools. They’re made by the developers of the security software.
Try booting into safe mode and running this removal tool.
If that fails; reboot into normal Windows and download Revo Uninstaller. It should be able to remove the program completely from your PC. If you need help figuring out Revo, this guide might be helpful.
Good luck.

KeymasterDepending on your browser; there is a fair chance that the JDK is locked from removal and JavaRa isn’t allowed to touch it. You will need to manually remove it. The steps to do that depend on your browser.
And yup; the updater is still a bit faulty. Something that will certainly be addressed before the stable release.

KeymasterThank you very much. This will be added on the next release.

KeymasterUse JavaRa 2.0 and follow the “Remove JRE” wizard. When you get to the final step (which is download JRE) it will give you the option of skipping it.
And to answer your second question; JavaRa won’t care if any JRE bits are removed.

KeymasterAfter purging with Revo Uninstaller; I can get the x32 version to install once again on affected system. The x64 seems to be totally broken still.
I’ll keep looking.

KeymasterTry uninstalling all version of JRE.
Run JavaRa 1.16 and then reboot.
Run JavaRa 2.0 (which has some advanced fixing features) and follow the “Remove JRE” wizard – but skip the first step. This has resolved JRE issues on the vast majority of PC’s I’ve encountered with this issue. It seems like Oracle changed something which is causing it to break.

KeymasterThere isn’t a Registry Mechanic removal tool available. I would suggest using Revo Uninstaller.

KeymasterThanks Phobos. It seems a bug is causing the filename to be hashed along with the rest of the file, causing an inaccurate result. I’ll look into this soon.
