KeymasterUsing the option Remove JRE, at 3rd step, when I ask to download new version, it instals jre 6.026 and not the last one, why?
JavaRa downloads whatever file is listed as “/latestversion/” on the Oracle website. I have no idea why Oracle haven’t updated this; but we’ll get it fixed.
@Dan; have you tried using 1.16? Sometimes Windows allows JavaRa 1.16 to remove entries that JavaRa 2.0 isn’t permitted to access. I (or anyone I’ve spoken to) has absolutely no idea why this is the case. I suspect Windows is powered by witchcraft.
If that doesn’t work; give Revo Uninstaller a shot.

KeymasterI might need to consult the original developer, but I’m fairly sure this issue (or one similar) was fixed in JavaRa 1.16. According to the log; you’re still using JavaRa 1.15 which was released on the 14th of October, 2010.

KeymasterDo you have a copy of the log JavaRa produces? That would assist in narrowing down the list of possible causes.
Have you contacted Bullhorn’s customer support to see if there are any current issues that could be affecting your service? JavaRa doesn’t really do anything beyond remove a pre-defined list of files/registry entries, so I suspect the issue lies in an incompatibility between the application you’re using and changes made in the latest version of the JRE.
As JavaRa does its thing almost exclusively in the registry; I system restore is very effective at reversing the changes it makes.

KeymasterIs it just broken in IE; or does the problem affect non ActiveX browsers too? (Chrome/Mozilla)

KeymasterWe’ll look into why that’s occurring. Thanks.

KeymasterIt removes cache and logs. You can use the ‘analyze’ function in CCleaner to double check

KeymasterDoes this happen every time, or only when scanning a specific category?
Shane Gowland
KeymasterThank you. It will be added on the next release.

KeymasterThanks for your feedback.
We’re still in the progress of updating the text/documentation on our website to reflect the changes in JavaRa 2.0. Once this is done; hopefully the confusion can be resolved.

KeymasterYes; we’ve neglected to write the documentation for custom.ini so far. It’s somewhere on a to-do list 😉
Basically; create a file called custom.ini in the same folder as CCEnhancer. Place any winapp entries into this file that you wish to use, but aren’t part of the winapp2.ini file we ship.
When you update using CCEnhancer; all of the entries in custom.ini will be merged with the updated winapp2.ini file automatically.
As for Trim.bat; it’s something we plan on adding.
